Darren Brewis, AIF® CFS is the Founder and President of Platinum Financial Group. He has been assisting individuals and businesses to build and protect their financial futures for over 20 years and has been recognized for his excellent work during that time.
Darren earned the Certified Fund Specialist (CFS) designation through the Institute of Business & Finance and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation.
Today, Platinum manages approximately 100 corporate retirement plans and is the advisor to hundreds of individuals in the Greater Tampa Bay region on their respective financial journeys.
Darren was born and raised in London, England. He is a former tennis teaching professional and USTA-Florida board member and holds a degree in Tennis Business Management & Coaching.
In his leisure time, Darren can most often be found on a Gulf of Mexico beach or at a local tennis court with his wife, Lesley, of 23 years and their two children.

Working with renowned economic scholars from around the world, Joel has a perspective that takes multiple facets of the industry into consideration when creating individualized plans.
Being in the industry for more than 10 years, Joel has worked with specialists focusing on a multitude of programs, from Social Security to Long Term Care. Joel has enjoyed collaborating with thousands of industry experts and financial advisors in finding ways to help each client achieve their individual goals.
Outside of the office, Joel is passionate about various charities that have had an impact on his life including participating in Tampa General Hospital’s Living Organ Donor Program and Nationwide Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Joel resides in Tampa with his wife, Shelby and two children- the four of them can often be found cheering on London’s Tottenham Hotspur Football Club or running around Walt Disney World- more than likely with a soft serve cone in hand.

Shelby has spent the majority of her time in the industry in a corporate training role, heading the sales and service area of a major Fortune 500 organization. Now at Platinum Financial Group, she is thrilled to be in a supportive role while helping clients' goals be realized.
Shelby resides in Tampa with her husband Joel, their two children, and three precious pets. In her free time, she enjoys Disney trips with her family, cruising, and trying her hand at DIY projects.
